Holy City Brewing: Check Out This Nearby Taproom

June 29, 2016 | greystar

Craft beer has made big waves in the city lately, and having a nearby brewery and taproom is a plus for lots of renters. If you’re a resident of Cooper River Farms in Charleston, you’ll be happy to know that Holy City Brewing is just across the Cooper River, about 10 minutes from home.

The tasting room at Holy City Brewing is simple, with an obvious focus on the beer. Guests can see barrels and large vessels for beer brewing right in the tasting room. A simple bar in the center of the room displays about a dozen and a half tap heads, and a chalkboard around the taps displays available beer for guests to order. If you want to enjoy your drink outside, there are picnic tables beneath a canopy in the backyard. And if you happen to strike up an appetite while enjoying a flight of IPAs, snack on something from the kitchen menu, like homemade hummus and fresh veggies or a Holy City cheesesteak.
