Must Visit Baseball Stadiums

Check out this list of the top five must see baseball stadiums in America.

Wrigley Field
Home of the Chicago Cubs, Wrigley Field is the second oldest major league stadium, built in 1913. Visit during the day to see the ivy covered walls in the outfield. Sit in the outfield bleachers to throw homerun balls hit by the opposing team back onto the field. 

Fenway Park
Fenway, home to the Boston Red Sox, was opened in 1912. See the historic Green Monster in the outfield and the red seat that honors Ted Williams' park-record home run.

Oriole Park at Camden Yards
Oriole Park is just two blocks away from Babe Ruth's birthplace in downtown Baltimore. The ball park may have opened in 1992 but it has a delicious old-school feel. 

PNC Park
This intimate park offers beautiful views of the Allegheny River and downtown Pittsburgh. Ticket prices are low, and don't forget to pick up a sandwich from the famous Primanti Brothers! 

Coors Field
Experience a wonderful view of the Rocky Mountains while watching a baseball game at Denver's Coors Field. Due to the high altitude you're more likely to see home runs here. Tickets start at just $4.

Green Tomato Grill: Healthy and Fast

Fast food needn’t be unhealthy! The Green Tomato Grill offers something for every persuasion of on-the-go diner, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free menu choices. Lightly floured fried chickpeas are a popular side dish, as is adobo-seasoned popcorn with a bit of a kick. Flatbread melts come in chicken, steak, or shrimp, and all are accompanied by awesome veggies and sauces. Grill bowls include Thai peanut shrimp and crispy tofu. Red and green stews come in bold, earthy flavors, the red made with beef, while the green is pork stewed in green chili sauce. Marconi Automotive Museum: Drive Hard

After amassing a glut of amazing motor vehicles, car enthusiast and Marconi Automotive Museum founder Dick Marconi wanted to give back to his community. In order to do so he also created the Marconi Foundation for Kids. Every visit to the museum costs a $5 donation to the Foundation, which then disseminates at least a million dollars a year to other local charities for at-risk children.  The $30 million collection itself is very impressive, more than worth the price of admission, with everything from a Roadster Coupe to a Ferrari F50 in its collection. The staff here is knowledgeable and more than willing to help in a visitor’s perusal of the collection, and the cars and motorcycles are not roped off, which means you can approach them and look inside at your leisure. The museum rents its space out for events running the gamut from mitzvahs to weddings, as well, with net proceeds from these going to charities too.
