Pizza in Paradise at Paradise Ridge Winery: Pizza and Beer is a Pairing of the Past

When you grab a slice of pizza, it's only natural to want a beer in your other hand. But Paradise Ridge Winery is setting out to change that impulse. Instead of beer, it pairs pizza with wine at its Pizza in Paradise event. The feast unfolds every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday around lunchtime from now until October at Paradise Ridge Winery's Russian River Valley Tasting Room. It's only about a 10-minute drive from Creekside Park, so consider joining the fun this weekend.
Gather around the tasting room's outdoor pizza oven for a glass of vino from Paradise Ridge Winery, as crafted by master winemaker Dan Barwick. Chef John Francetti is already hard at work making the pies bound for the wood-burning oven, and he uses local ingredients to do so. The slices are specially designed to pair perfectly with the wines, so take time to savor every bite and sip.
