Chef Mark Dierkhising believes that sharing a quality meal is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Through his restaurant, Dierk’s Midtown Cafe, he’s made that possible for everyone. He opened Dierk’s Midtown Cafe in 2013 after experiencing great success with his first eatery, Dierk’s Parkside Cafe, which launched in 2006. Now, even more diners, including those living nearby at Creekside Park, can enjoy breakfast and brunch all day — one of the things Dierk’s is known for.

You should arrive here hungry because the portions are huge! Although the menu changes from time to time, you can count on the corned beef hash as being available because so many eaters rave about it. The star of the menu, though, has to be the country benedict, consisting of a fresh baguette crowned with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, spinach, bacon, tomatoes, hash browns, and house-made Hollandaise. You might experience a wait on the weekends, but you can expect the service to be upbeat and friendly despite the crowds.
