The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County Is A Great Place To Visit For Children Under 10
February 9, 2016 | sack
Anyone looking for something different to do to keep their children entertained should plan to visit the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County, a nearby institution (it’s just three miles from Creekside Park!) that specializes in keeping kids entertained while also educating them. The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County is best suited, and designed, for children who are under the age of 10.
The museum is home to an assortment of great hands-on activities, including waterfall and wave creation, a magnet exhibition that tests the strength of magnetism, a pipe organ toy to teach about pitches, an exhibit about a butterfly’s life cycle, a building block activity, an area where toddlers can discover mirrors and rattles during their most formative months, and more.
The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day of the week except Tuesdays. Admission is $10 for adults and children. Babies under 12 months are free.
