Grab a Casual Brunch or a Quick Lunch To Go at Jeffrey’s Hillside Cafe

March 13, 2017 | sack

Jeffrey Madura, the head chef at Jefferey’s Hillside Cafe in Santa Rosa, is California through and through. His first jobs were in California pizzerias, he trained as a chef at the California Culinary Academy, and he even teaches cooking classes at Santa Rosa Junior College. He made his name as a sous chef and eventually executive chef in Santa Rosa’s finest restaurants, while simultaneously making connections with farmers and ranchers throughout Sonoma County. Those connections served him well when he opened up his own restaurant in 2008, serving carefully crafted breakfast and lunch dishes made with locally grown and sustainably sourced ingredients.

Some of the standout dishes at Jefferey's Hillside Cafe, according to Yelp and TripAdvisor reviews, include the duck hash, the sticky bun French toast, and the roast turkey sandwich. Vegetarians also approve of the diverse meat-free options, such as the kitchen’s signature quiche. Parking is a snap at Jefferey's thanks to a dedicated lot, which makes this place an attractive rendezvous point for Sunday brunch.
