Try the Bacon Waffles for Brunch at The Naked Pig

December 27, 2018 | sack

When The Naked Pig first opened in Santa Rosa, it was a humble little pop-up located in a former Greyhound bus depot. Its new location on Mendocino Avenue in the historic Cherry Street shopping district brings its celebrated farm-to-table breakfast menu to a more permanent home.

The new space retains the eatery’s original hipster-chic aesthetic, with floor-to-ceiling windows and reclaimed wood surfaces. The restaurant serves up classic American fare (locally-sourced eggs, bacon, and potatoes), as well as innovative new combinations, like its popular bacon waffles. If neither of those options floats your boat, don’t worry: the kitchen updates its seasonal menu every month. Finish your meal with a mimosa if you want to enjoy a boozy brunch or with French-press coffee, fresh-pressed juices, or house-made cream soda. If you’re not an early riser, don’t worry, as there’s also a small lunch menu.
