30 Dalton: Revels RiverSing
May 11, 2022 | davidcroda
With summer winding down, we look to fall for more fun times. What better way to ring in the new season than with the Revels RiverSing. This event celebrates not only the arrival of autumn, but the human voice as a musical instrument.
Revels Music Director Megan Henderson brings her group to a new riverfront location this year for the 16th edition of RiverSing. Come to the Herter Park Amphitheater in Allston for what is sure to be an excellent time. Before the show, take part in a number of family friendly festivities. Partaking adults will want to check out the beer garden. No matter where you go, you’re bound to find plenty of opportunities for communal singing! If you’d like to sing in a Revels RiverSing Chorus, you can register to join them on stage. The Children’s Chorus is for people between ages seven and 11, while the RiverSing Chorus is for those aged 17 and up. That’s not all: Noel Paul Stookey, from famed folk group Peter, Paul, and Mary, will headline the show. Best of all, RiverSing is free to attend!
