Watch Chocolate-Making Firsthand at Hersheypark

Regardless of where you grew up, you probably made s'mores with a chunk of Hershey's chocolate. Did you ever wonder where it got the name? Hershey's chocolate is manufactured in Hershey, PA, and you can learn all about it when you visit Hersheypark, which is right outside of Harrisburg.

Hersheypark has all the roller coasters and thrill rides of other amusement parks, but it's also home to a very special attraction: Chocolate World. This ride actually walks you through the chocolate-making process from cow to candy bar. Board a cart and ride it through the faux chocolate factory, getting an insider glimpse at every step of the manufacturing, then enjoy some Hershey's Kisses yourself at the end of your ride (grab a few extra to take back to your DeSouza Brown apartment!). You can head off to more thrilling rides next, like the popular Storm Runner or, when it's warm, any of the water rides.
