Cullari Vineyards and Winery Proves That There’s More to Hershey Than Just Chocolate

Sure, Hershey might be a town made famous by chocolate, but that's not all that our area has to offer! Case in point: Cullari Vineyards and Winery, a boutique wine bottler and producer that bills itself as the "first and only vineyard/winery located in Hershey, PA." Founded by Salvatore Cullari (a native of Italy) and his wife, Kathi, Cullari Vineyards and Winery specializes in small-batch varietals; their vineyards only produce about 25,000 bottles per year!
The best way to discover your personal favorite is through a visit to the Cullari tasting room in Hershey. Open to the public Wednesdays through Sundays, the tasting room is where budding sommeliers and wine enthusiasts can sniff, swish, and sniff their way through a wine flight, which is priced between $5 and $6 and introduces the palate to five or six different varietals. The price includes snacks, a souvenir glass, plus 10 percent off the purchase of a bottle to take home to your DeSouza Brown apartment!
Be sure to plan a visit this spring or summer, when the weather warms and you can sip and linger on the tasting room's outdoor deck.
