Located in Halifax, Lake Tobias Wildlife Park is more than just your typical zoo. Hidden in the countryside, it embodies the essence of six continents with its exotic animals and reptiles, as well as a truly interactive experiences for guests. Creating a happy, healthy and safe environment for the animals is the park’s mission, and guests are educated on a wide variety of wildlife. You'll see lions, tigers and bears (oh my!), as well as numerous exotic animals, including eland, gemsbok, rhea and watusi- a once-in-a-lifetime viewing experience for visitors.

Visitors agree that the open-air safari tour is a “must” on your visit to the park. With over 150 acres, guests have the opportunity to see wild and exotic animals and even touch them! Equally as popular is the petting zoo, which features tiny African pygmy goats, llamas, camels, and more.

Note that Lake Tobias offers free admission to our active duty military members and veterans.
