December 23, 2016 | desouzabrown

Seeking a family-friendly way to ring in 2017? Head to Hershey New Year’s Eve this Dec. 31! Festivities will take over the square with three hours of music and fun that culminates in the drop of the Hershey Kiss (because who needs the Times Square ball when you have a giant Hersey kiss?).

Starting at 9 p.m. the local band All Jacked Up will take the stage to entertain all ages with their renditions of classics by bands like the Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, all the way to modern day hits by icons like Katy Perry. After an hour, Jacob Whitesides will take over until 11:55 p.m. to ring in 2017. This 18-year-old artist has been wowing crowds across the globe with his talent and stage presence, so it is sure to be a great one.

The best part? It’s all free! There will be food and non-alcoholic beverages being sold around the square so you can make sure to do a soda cheers as the kiss drops!
