To experience Harrisburg in a whole new way, check out 3rd in the Burg. Hosted the third Friday of each month, the goal of the year-round event is to highlight the incredible art and culture of this city that you might not recognize on a daily basis. Shops, restaurants, and other businesses in downtown and midtown stay open late and offer special exhibits, shows, deals, and more, depending on the month.
3rd in the Burg generally takes place between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., with the next event to be held on Friday, Jan. 20. Participating venues vary, but the businesses scheduled to partake in this month's 3rd in the Burg include Carley's Ristorante, the Susquehanna Art Museum, Midstate Distillery, and many more (see the lineup here). There's even a free shuttle van that provides door-to-door service!
