On Thursday, June 15th, Mechanicsburg's typically sleepy Main Street will be flooded with crowds for the 89th Annual Jubilee Day. It's expected to draw around 70,000 folks based on the sizable audience it attracted last year, so you're going to want to show up right around 10 a.m. when the day kicks off. That's the only way to ensure you'll be able to hit each booth.
After all, there are going to be more than 300 of them. Vendors come from all around the area with many different items to tout, including handmade arts and crafts, as well as fresh food. Local businesses, shops, and boutiques will set up tables showcasing the goods and services they offer, while nearby a Children's Zone promises entertainment and fun in the form of rides and games. The event is free to attend, but please leave pets and bikes at home. You can park at various sites around town for free and take the shuttle to Main Street if you want to avoid fighting crowds for a parking spot.
