Spend July Fourth at Hersheypark

When you celebrate Independence Day at Hersheypark, there's more to do than just take a spin on its many rollercoasters—though they'll certainly be up and running for the day-long festivities! You can also be part of a picnic, enjoy a patriotic parade, and ooh and aah over a stunning fireworks display.

Come to Hersheypark at 9:45 a.m. on the 4th of July and, when you pay the park admission fee, witness the band playing the National Anthem at the entrance. The gates actually open at 10 a.m., allowing guests ample time to explore the amusement rides sprinkled throughout the park before the Star-Spangled Picnic kicks off at 5 p.m. For $15 per person, you can dig into an all-you-can-eat smorgasbord of burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, and summery sides with ice cream and soft drinks. Stick around for the 4th of July fireworks that paint the sky in bright hues starting at 10:15 p.m.
