If you haven’t tried coffee from a micro roaster yet, you need to try Little Amps Coffee Roasters in Harrisburg. Micro roasted coffee is small batch roasts which are geared towards the beans to really bring out the best kind of flavor. It results in a much smoother drink, with a bit of sweetness that is much easier on the taste buds than some of the bitter stuff you can get from big box coffee places.
With three Harrisburg locations, Little Amps is known for their cold jar, which takes espresso, milk, and brown sugar and mixes them together in a mason jar with a couple good shakes. The result is a frothy, cool drink that isn’t too sweet with a little kick. One of the other local favorites is the Uptown Ginger Brown, which is cappuccino topped with ginger, orange zest, and brown sugar. In the coffee realm, they serve up nitro, pour over, cold brew, and your typical batch brewed coffee, all of which are delicious and slightly different in flavor based upon their prep method.
