Rudy’s Country Store and Barbecue is a small chain with locations scattered across Texas. The San Antonio location is beloved for its consistently fast, fresh food, heaping helpings for low prices, and shabby chic decor. The restaurant itself has a gas station attached to the front, with a few outdoor tables for cooler afternoons. The inside features exposed brick walls and long tables covered in red gingham tablecloths, as well as a long counter where you can order your food and watch as the friendly employees slice the meat, prepare sandwiches, and pack it all up to go.
