Bring the Little Ones to Boo at the Zoo!
October 16, 2015 | sack
The Santa Ana Zoo celebrates Halloween with its annual Boo at the Zoo, a two-weekend-long event that aims to provide children of the area with spook-tacular fun.
On Oct. 17, 18, 24, 25, and 30, the zoo invites the pint-sized set in for family-friendly fun, like a trick-or-treat trail that brings kids around the zoo to 10 spots featuring prizes and storytelling. Kids are also encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes and take part in a Halloween parade that occurs nightly. Zoo guests can embark on the Boofari Express to get around the zoo and hop on the Conservation Carrousel for a fun ride. Admission to the express is $3 for one ride and $5 for a combo ticket.
For the not-so-small guests, the Teen Scream haunted house will provide some serious scares to those who are a little older. The fun awaits just a stone's throw from Estrella!
