Meet and Greet a Bunch of Furry Friends at the International Day with the Critters

November 25, 2015 | sack

On Dec. 5, you can travel the globe without ever leaving the Santa Ana Zoo. The International Day with the Critters kicks off at 11 a.m., and it'll take guests on a journey around the world with all of the far-flung animals they encounter. Located only a stone's throw away from Estrella, the zoo is an easy spot to spend the sunny December day with your brood.

Pay admission or get in free with your zoo membership and get your zoo passport stamped at each station you visit. Not only will you see an animal from each station's nation, ranging from the endangered golden lion tamarins of Brazil to a slow-moving baby sloth, you'll also get to experience live traditional dancing, storytelling, and games along the way. While you're at the zoo, you can also check out the holiday Winter Zoobilation display, which showcases fairy lights and softly falling snow.
