Head to the Santa Ana Zoo to Check Out the Ocelot Exhibit!
September 2, 2015 | sack
The Santa Ana Zoo has two new residents: A pair of ocelots. For those who aren’t up on their animal trivial (no worries!), ocelots look like miniature cheetahs. There are currently only 26 Brazilian ocelots in America, and two of the are currently at our local zoo, which is less than one mile from Estrella.
Other buzzworthy animals on view at the zoo include camels, bald eagles, rhinos, monkeys, lions, emu, and poison dart frogs.
Take up the opportunity to see rare and endangered animals by visiting the zoo. The Santa Ana Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults over the age of 13; $7 for seniors over the age of 60; and $7 for children ages 7 through 12. Those who arrive after 2 p.m. will receive discounted admission. Admission is always free for members.
