California is one of the most diverse states in the country, with varying natural habitats that are home to countless types of wild critters. Peters Canyon Hike showcases the diverse mass of land in one 340-acre park. The land is vast and stunning, and it offers plenty to be explored.
The park offers a variety of organized roads and trails that provide opportunities for hikers and mountain bikers. The East Ridge View Trail offers visitors a panoramic view of Peters Canyon and the surrounding areas, and guests can enjoy the gorgeous Upper Peters Canyon reservoir while meandering through the Lake View Trail. Peters Canyon Hike also offers guests the Peters Canyon Creek Nature Trail, which guides hikers through lush groves of black willows and cottonwoods by a running creek. Visitors of the park can traverse the area’s grassland, coastal sage scrub, and riparian habitats at their own will.
Peters Canyon Hike is open every day of the week from 7 a.m. until sunset.
