Just a straight shot down Route 40 from this intersection are the vast, rolling hills of Glasgow Park. Glasgow Park sits in the heart of the Newark/Bear/Glasgow area and takes up over 250 acres, providing locals, such as the residents of Evergreen Apartments at Christiana Reserve, with miles of paved walkway, and over $10 million worth of improvements in recent years, including playgrounds, pavilions for picnics, and the Glasgow Skate Park.
Also, from May to October, Glasgow Park showcases a variety of local produce and vendors at its weekly Farmer’s Market! Every Friday 3pm-7pm, stop by Glasgow Park, just down the road from Christiana Reserve, to stock up on locally grown fruits and veggies. Additionally, four times this summer (June 12, July 10, August 13, and September 11) NCCo Libraries will be presenting 3pm Storytime at the Farmers Market. Free fun for the whole family!
