Evergreen Apartments at Riverfront Heights is located just minutes from the Wilmington Riverfront and the Downtown Wilmington area. Being in such close proximity to so many family friendly attractions is one of the many amenities of living at Riverfront Heights. With so many places to take the kids, it’s good to have some information before you head over to the Riverfront.
The Delaware Children’s Museum is open every Tuesday-Sunday, and is closed on Mondays. It is located right on the Riverwalk, just a short drive or bus ride from Riverfront Heights. The Delaware Children’s Museum offers a variety of activities for children throughout the month. During the week, every day at 10am you can head over for the DCM Block Party, where kids can grab blocks made out of foam, tubes made out of plastic, and all kids of other ‘architectural’ materials so build whatever structures come to your imagination! There’s also the daily DCM Speedway where children can learn about physics while they zip around a track using Roller Racers® in the Open Gallery. The Delaware Children’s Museum also has a monthly Junior Engineer workshop for children to learn about engineering fields through experiments and demonstrations, as well as monthly gatherings where kids can try being a scientist for a few hours!
The Delaware Children’s Museum is one of many places the families of Riverfront Heights can get out to explore the Riverfront area, where learning is both educational and fun! Evergreen Apartments at Riverfront Heights residents love all of the attractions for children close by to the apartment community! The Delaware Children’s Museum is not only focused on teaching kids about science, but it’s also committed to helping the community.
