Less than two miles from Fountain Park is Fresh Pixx Pizza and Salad, a newly opened build-your-own pizza and salad spot! It launched in June and it's grabbing the attention of diners who want a custom meal fast.

All pizzas start with thin-crust dough. Diners tell the staffers behind the counter what they'd like in terms of cheese, toppings, and sauce. Toppings like ham, bacon, mozzarella, cheddar, artichokes, olives, red peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes are all on the menu. If you take the build-your-own salad route, you can select your desired lettuce, then opt for ingredients such as gorgonzola, steak, shrimp, chicken, cucumber, avocado, red onions, and eggs. And, of course, there's an extensive selection of salad dressings.

For those looking for some pizza and salad guidance, there are pre-conceived creations, too. The menu is also complete with beer and wine.
