Head to the Hilltop Tasting Room at House Family Vineyards This Weekend

Interested in a panoramic view of the Santa Cruz Mountains and the Silicon Valley without having to hike? Then head to the tasting room at House Family Vineyards. The Vineyard Point Tasting Room rests atop a hill and spills out onto a large, shaded wooden deck, promising breathtaking views with every pour. Since Fountain Park is only about three miles from the tasting room, you can see it yourself this weekend.
It's usually open from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, offering up glasses of wine and gorgeous views to anyone who visits. Some guests bring along their own food, too, and set up a picnic out on the deck. But sometimes owner Jim, who doubles as a chef, whips up food to pair with the vino, too. Enjoy!
