Happy Memorial Day, Fountain Park! If you still don't have plans for this patriotic holiday, you may want to head downtown and show your support for your San Jose Sharks. From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Plaza de Cesar Chavez, hockey fans from around the San Jose area will gather to send off the Sharks to their first Stanley Cup finals.

Don't forget to wear your favorite Sharks gear to the rally, and be sure to bring some cash along to take advantage of the numerous food and beer trucks on site. There will be DJs spinning fun music all day long, as well as kid-friendly games like cornhole, ping pong and more. While you'll find picnic tables and hammocks throughout the park, you may also want to bring along a blanket to spread out on the lawn during the event.
