“Emperors’ Treasures: Chinese Art from the National Palace Museum, Taipei” will be on display until Sunday, September 18, 2016, showcasing a treasure trove of emperors’ prized possessions, including artwork created by emperors themselves. Until Sunday, October 23, 2016, the “Mother-of-Pearl Lacquerware from Korea” exhibit will be at the Asian Art Museum, displaying an ornate art that has been practiced in Korea for over a thousand years.
