San Jose's 8th International Children's Festival is something to get excited about, according to many local families. This year's festival will be held on September 24, 2016 in Discovery Meadow Park, and it will be a day-long celebration of different cultures and communities, all aimed at entertaining and educating children.

Kids can watch and participate in dance performances, listen to storytellers spin tall tales, and create original works of art at several different craft booths, all while developing a sense of global awareness and an appreciation for diverse cultures. Don’t worry about getting hungry, either, as the festival features plenty of food vendors serving up tasty treats that are native to countries around the world. Doors open at 10 a.m. and the fun lasts until 5 p.m., so you can drop by for the morning or afternoon or make it an all-day excursion. Best of all, admission is entirely free, so you can bring the whole family without breaking the bank.
