Grab a Quick Mediterranean Lunch at Falafel’s Drive-In

April 12, 2017 | sack

Bright, scenic murals and filling falafel sandwiches are just a few reasons why folks come from all over to experience Falafel’s Drive-In. This casual dining spot puts together enormous gyros, stuffed falafel sandwiches, and sizzling house-made pita chips daily, and it's been doing so since 1966.

Featured on the hit TV show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, this colorful little joint even makes a creamy house hummus and a drool-worthy banana shake. Guests say Falafel’s Drive-In makes some of the most flavorful and crispy falafel in all of San Jose, and say the red paste is a true standout ingredient. With large portion sizes and a friendly, happy staff, it’s easy to see why this cafe stays busy seven days a week.

Stop in for a messy but delicious lunch between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday.
