San Jose has more than its fair share of taco joints, but one that really sets itself apart from the rest is Spartan Taco Truck. This truck is usually found on East William Street, and is a great place to satisfy those late-night taco cravings.

This is one of the best places for tacos with authentic fillings, especially those that you might not find at your average truck. Asada, pastor, and carnitas are all on the menu, but for something truly different, try the cabesa (beef head) or cesos (beef brain). Of course, if you’re not in the mood for something that adventurous, you might want to go for the bacon-wrapped hot dog, which is served with mayo and topped with grilled onions and jalapenos. Pick up an order of nacho fries while you’re there — you won’t regret it!
