The Grill on the Alley is a steakhouse in downtown San Jose. Modeled after the great restaurants of the 1930’s and 1940’s, The Grill on the Alley is known as one of the country’s best steakhouses. Inside, the restaurant is out of a movie with dark wood, glamorous tables with white tablecloths, beautiful floral centerpieces, and bold lighting.

The Grill on the Alley has a wide variety of soups, salads, seafood, chicken, pasta, and steak dishes. Menu favorites include the ground beef steak tartare, the petit filet mignon, the jumbo crab cakes, the grill cheeseburger, and the grilled vegetable plate. Don’t leave without dessert — the fudge brownie pie and the key lime pie are Yelpers favorites.

For cheap drinks and eats, visit The Grill for happy hour Monday to Friday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
