Agha’s Gyro Express is a bustling food truck parked in the heart of downtown San Jose specializing in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fast food. The menu is simple yet delicious with only four items – Chicken Gyro, Lamb Gyro, Chicken Over Rice, and Lamb Over Rice. Agha’s lamb is tender and well seasoned served over fluffy long-grain rice with pita bread and a side salad dressed in a creamy dill sauce. The whole plate is then topped with a tart refreshing white sauce or a spicy red chili sauce that both blend together nicely.
