Roots and Rye, situated in Santana Row, is an industrial chic restaurant offering modern takes on American classics and whiskey cocktails. The menu consists of a variety of snacks, small plates, large plates, and desserts. Start your meal off with their cola-braised Pork Belly Sliders topped with tangy pickled vegetables. Another favorite appetizer is the Deviled Eggs, made with curry, jalapeno, celery, and cilantro. The large plates include didhes like Duck Confit Garganelli Pasta, a pork chop with a garlic caramel sauce and charred cabbage, and the R&R Burger topped with white cheddar, bacon, and spicy remoulade.

Inside, the eatery is trendy and sleek with pendant lighting, marquee signs, and exposed wooden accents. Relax at a variety of seating options, such as a lounge area with low tables, a long backlit bar, and patio seating around two outdoor fire pits.
