Haberdasher is a speakeasy-style basement bar in downtown San Jose serving up creative cocktails and beer along with a handful of snacks. Their signature drinks incorporate unusual flavors and combinations, such as the rich and frothy Matcha Flip, made with Irish whiskey, a whole egg, and organic matcha. Another favorite is the sweet and smooth Golden Gauntlet, consisting of apple brandy, cream sherry, and peach bitters. The bar also offers six draft cocktails and rotating beers on tap. Pair your drink with some Old Salties, peanuts roasted in bacon fat and seasoned with Old Bay, or the Sweet & Spicy Pecans.

Haberdasher has a quirky atmosphere with velvety banquettes, hanging bowler hat lights, and bartenders serving drinks in 1920s attire. Walk-ins are always welcome, but you can also make reservations for tableside service for Fridays and Saturdays only. Visit Haberdasher Sunday through Wednesday 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Thursday through Saturday 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
