Expect Piping-Hot Asian Fare at Power Pot
November 30, 2017 | sack
Power Pot takes the hot pot approach to Asian cuisine, which typically tasks customers with searing their own food in sizzling broth, and speeds up the process a bit. Instead of leaving the cooking to you, the kitchen team sears everything behind the scenes. Then a server brings the hot pot to your table and sets it on a tabletop grill to keep it warm.
Before they can bring it out, though, you'll have to place your order. Begin by selecting your soup. The daring eater may want to opt for the cheesy milk soup, which swims with slices of pork, imitation crab meat, fish, tofu, vermicelli noodles, and a medley of mushrooms and other veggies. For the less adventurous, Power Pot offers options such as satay beef soup and simple miso soup. Wash down your meal with a creamy Power Drink tea or a sparkling Italian soda.
