Folks who live in the neighborhood say that the new location of House of Pho in Cambrian Park has already spiced up the local dining scene. Occupying a space that once housed a fast food sandwich place, House of Pho can offer a nice change of pace for area foodies.

Long time devotees of the Almaden Expressway location will be happy to see a similar menu, with options like pho bo (beef), rice and egg noodle soups, and stir-fry dishes. Everyone has their own favorite dish, but regulars say you can’t go wrong with the pho tai nam gan (steak and beef tendon soup) or the old reliable pad ga prow. There’s also a menu of smoothies and blended teas. While the dining room is often quite full, don’t worry—Yelpers say that the service is smooth and efficient.
