Savor Upscale Asian Fusion Cuisine at The Province

June 25, 2018 | sack

Chef Chris Yeo is considered one of the first to do Asian fusion fare in the Bay Area, and he has the accolades to prove it from the James Beard Foundation, the Smithsonian Institute, and even the United Nations. At The Province in the Bay 101 Casino, Chef Yeo matches the splendor of the eatery—some highlights include an enormous chandelier and hand-painted murals—in his creative fusion plates.

Start your meal with the fries loaded with pork belly, smoked gouda, gochucharu crema, a poached egg, and sesame seeds. Then treat yourself to any of the inventive entrees, perhaps the Phoenix prawns dressed in Hunan chili-soy sauce or the popular clay-pot salmon, which features caramelized nuoc mam, chili, onions, cilantro, and a handful of other veggies. The menu includes many upscale steak and seafood options, so take your pick.
