New hot spot Braise brings a welcome mix of inventive food and drinks to the Willow Glen neighborhood. The reception has already been overwhelmingly positive for how little time this eatery has been open, and the restaurant is already drawing a following of regulars.

Expect a long list of craft cocktails in addition to their beer and wine offering, as well as small plates, sharable snacks, and hearty main entrees. The cuisine is global, but created in a modern way. Enjoy creative dishes like their PB&J sandwich with bone marrow, or a fresh take on shaved papaya salad. The bar and restaurant scene in Willow Glen can be quite competitive, and Braise is already holding its own with a packed house most nights. Braise opens at 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, and also offers happy hour in the bar area from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
