If you’re always up for trying something new—and you don’t mind DIYing your dinner—check out Q Pot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot. The San Jose eatery invites guests to try one of two interactive culinary techniques: Korean barbecue or hot-pot cooking.
If you opt for the Korean barbecue, you pay a flat fee and order as many ingredients as you want to sear on the central tabletop barbecue. The menu includes premium sirloin steak, spicy pork bulgogi, garlic shrimp, and many other options. If you decide to try the hot pot, start by selecting a soup base like the Korean kimchi or Japanese miso. Once the broth arrives at your table, bring it to bubbling over the grill and toss the meats, seafood, noodles, and veggies of your choice into the piping-hot soup. Leave the morsels there until they’re cooked to your liking, then enjoy the feast.
