The 13th Annual Bay Area Diwali Festival of Lights Fills Memorial Park This Saturday

October 16, 2015 | sack

This Saturday, Oct. 17, the 13th Annual Bay Area Diwali Festival of Lights returns to Memorial Park. Presented by the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce and its Asian American Business Council, the festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and promises fun for guests of all ages.

Throughout the day, you can look forward to live music, a variety of performances, pony rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, henna, face painting, arts and crafts, shopping from a bevy of vendors, booths from local businesses, and food from around the world.

The festival is expected to be a hub of cultural celebrations — you can look forward to delicious food and performances from a number of cultures. And perhaps best of all, it's just a short distance from Fountain Park.

Admission to the festival is free with pay-as-you-go food, drinks, and shopping.

More than 15,000 people are expected to come out and celebrate Diwali. Will you be one of them?
