Get Inspired Near Fountain Park With a Tour of the Euphrat Museum of Art

April 12, 2016 | sack

The Euphrat Museum of Art is a unique community centerpiece set on the De Anza College campus, and it is always open to the public for viewing. Unlike many museums that only showcase pieces from well-known artists, this museum provides a display arena for art students to showcase their best work.

Art lovers will want to keep updated on the artist presentations, which vary month to month. The first Thursday of each month is open mic night, and the third Thursday of each month includes a film offering. The museum offers one-of-a-kind pieces of varying mediums, often reflecting the rich culture of the Cupertino area. Additionally, each year the museum produces three exhibitions with the inclusion of emerging artists, nationally and internationally respected artists, plus the works of local elementary and middle school students. The community is also heavily involved, and more than 50 artists are represented through the museum each year.

For more details on current exhibitions and shows, visit the college’s website.
