Discover a World of Colombian Pastries at Milohas

November 30, 2016 | sack

The name Milohas comes from the Spanish words “mil hojas,” meaning one thousand layers, just like the dough used in Milohas’ pastries. Milohas is a family-owned bakery that offers Colombian empanadas and baked goods.

All of the food is prepared by hand daily with fresh and high quality ingredients. The recipes are all family owned, handed down and perfected over the years, and no added preservatives are used in any of the food. Locals recommend the mushroom quinoa empanada, the ham and cheese empanada, and the turkey empanada. In addition to savory empanadas, Milohas also has arepas, passion fruit ice cream, and milhojas.

Milohas is closed Monday and Thursday and open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in addition to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
