Now that the kids are back in school and you have settled into a routine again, it’s time to start planning some autumn fun. There are plenty of events in Austin taking place in the near future, so you are bound to find something to do that is right up your alley.

At the Pecan Street Festival, local performers showcase their talents on one of three stages, while various local artists also display their crafts. This is one of the longest-running festivals in Austin, drawing a crowd of more than 300,000 people annually. The event kicks off on Saturday, September 29 at 11 am.

The Austin Symphonic Band will play an annual concert at Zilker Park on October 7, 2012 at 7 pm. This classical music concert is free, and guests are encouraged to bring a picnic basket and blanket and relax in the park while enjoying this live entertainment.

Bunco is a game of dice, played in rounds. Players take turns rolling the dice and trying to accumulate as many points as possible to win each round. Appetizers and refreshments too! Bunco will be from 5-6:30pm.
