Located in Simsbury, Popover Bistro & Bakery is a popular destination for breakfast and lunch. The people of Popover are definitely going for a cute-and-kitschy vibe—with brightly colored walls and chalkboard menus, the cafe feels both cozy and fun.

When it comes to the menu, Popover is, of course, well known for its namesake popovers. While traditional popovers with honey butter are a crowd pleaser, the breakfast menu also contains “overstuffed popovers,” which are stuffed with scrambled eggs and other ingredients of your choosing. At lunch time, sandwiches are served on popovers unless otherwise requested. This quaint eatery also offers other baked goods such as gluten-free muffins, scones, and traditional desserts.

Popover Bistro & Bakery recently began offering a dinner service, too—but it’s pick up or delivery only. You can order dinner meals on the bistro’s website.
