Did You Know You Can Snag Free Museum Passes at the Simsbury Public Library?

July 21, 2016 | trioonline

There's never a shortage of things to do at the Simsbury Public Library. From music workshops for the littlest learners to a full business resource center for aspiring engineers, the span of what's offered here is truly impressive. Like your standard library, with a free library card you’re able to access all their resources and services, take out books, and even check out Samsung tablets and museum passes! Museum passes provide free entry or a discount to local gems like the Beardsley Zoo, the Children’s Museum, CT Science Center, and the Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Seaport for a fun day trip.

Insider's tip: Between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. every Friday throughout the summer, you can catch a movie courtesy of the library, as well. This week will feature Joy, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper, while July 29 will screen 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, starring John Krasinski. Check out the library's website for a calendar chock full of events for all ages and interests!
