Kick off the fall season with a visit to the annual Septemberfest, hosted the second weekend of September at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center. If you haven’t experienced an event at this venue yet, this is a must-see. The open-air stage and sprawling lawn welcome patrons to bring some chairs or a blanket to get cozy and listen to great performers under the stars.

The three-day festival kicks off at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 9, with Country Music Night. The grounds will come alive with live music, family-friendly activities, food from local establishments, as well as displays and goods from local businesses and vendors. The day culminates with an incredible fireworks show to start the weekend off with a bang. Return Saturday, September 10, for Family Day and Sunday, September 11, for Oktoberfest!
