The epitome of a mom-and-pop shop, The Coffee Trade has been owned by Mr. & Mrs. Portfolio since the 1980s. The moment you walk in, you’ll feel as if you’ve entered your grandparents' home; the walls of the beautiful old white house are covered with coffee paraphernalia, antiques, and eclectic decor without a bare spot on the wall. You could spend hours weaving through the rooms and exploring all they have to offer, from gifts to bags of coffee and tea from across the globe. In one corner you’ll find a massive vintage coffee roaster, and another a cozy little room with seating to catch up over a latte.
As for the food, the menu boasts a mix of flavored coffees, decadent lattes, quality teas, and smoothies. The flavored coffees come in a variety of flavors each day, depending on what has been roasted (think Almond Joy, Cinnamon Gingerbread, German Chocolate Cake, Royal Scottish Creme, and many more). The lattes earn rave reviews, with options like vanilla, pumpkin, and snickerdoodle. They also offer a variety of baked goods that will complement any cup o’ joe!
