Collinsville Canoe & Kayak Can Teach You to Paddle This Summer

July 26, 2017 | trioonline

When Collinsville Canoe & Kayak first opened in 1990, the family-owned business only occupied a small section of the building that once housed the Miner Lumber Company. But now nearly 30 years later, it has expanded to take over the entire 10,000-square-foot building. With how much it has to offer, it's no wonder why the small local business continues to thrive.

Collinsville Canoe & Kayak plays host to a huge collection of canoes, kayaks, and standup paddleboards, and if you don't know how to use any of these watercrafts, Collinsville Canoe & Kayak's staff can teach you. The paddling school offers tons of classes that run down the fundamentals, from Intro to Kayak Canoe Basics. If you've never tried standup paddleboarding, allowing the instructors to give you a quick crash course and then set you free. You can even learn how to flow through yoga poses atop a paddleboard.
