Have You Tried Ice Cream From Milkcraft Yet?

August 3, 2017 | trioonline

Giant roasted marshmallows. Heritage bacon. Balsamic glaze. What do all of these seemingly disparate ingredients have in common? You can order any of them on top of your ice cream cone at Milkcraft. It's probably already obvious that this isn't your typical ice cream shop. Opened in June, Milkcraft does things a bit differently than most dessert spots.

For one thing, it offers wildly unexpected ice cream flavors like strawberry balsamic, Vietnamese coffee, and Cookie Butter blue. For another, each serving of ice cream is frozen to order using liquid nitrogen. The ice cream also comes stuffed inside of a Hong Kong-style bubble waffle or a Creameebun (AKA glazed doughnut). And, as mentioned above, the toppings range from classics like Just Made Hot Fudge to unexpected additions like Maple Kettle Corn.
