The Simsbury Giant Used Book Sale Returns Sept. 9-10

The 2017 Giant Used Book Sale is the latest installment in an ongoing Simsbury tradition. Each year, the Simsbury Public Library wraps up the summer with an early-September book sale to end all book sales. Although the library sells used books year-round at the Friends' Book Store on its lower level, the Giant Used Book Sale is a much bigger undertaking.
True to its name, this book sale promises hundreds of thousands of books to pick from. Vendors from all over the region will flock to Simsbury High School on September 9th and 10th with their gently used pieces of literature in tow. Simsbury locals can also contribute to the inventory by donating books, games and puzzles, DVDs, CDs, and any contemporary software at the library through August 26th. The entire assortment will be put on display at the school, with almost all of the reads priced at less than $1.50. It's a great place to stock up if your personal library is running low on fresh literature.
